Eligibility for a UAE Work Visa:
As per the ICP, to obtain a visit visa to examine career opportunities, the applicant needs to meet the following requirements:
- He or she must be a graduate of one of the top 500 universities in the world, as determined by the Ministry of Education’s approved classification, and must have graduated within the last two years, or they must be in the first, second, or third skill level according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization’s (MOHRE) professional levels of jobs.
- He/she a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is required.
- He or she is required to provide the required financial guarantee.
Necessary Documents:
- A colorful picture
- A copy of the passport of the applicant. The passport needs to be good for a minimum of half a year.
- Qualifications certificate (attested).

- Application submission methods include typing centers, customer happiness centers, and the ICP application or website.

- The visa should be issued to you in 48 hours if all the paperwork is in place.
What is the cost?
The ICP states that the following amount must be paid:
- Fee for request: AED 100
- Visas can be issued for AED200, AED300, or AED400 (60, 90, or 120 days).
- Deposit for security: AED 1,025
- Fee for e-services: AED 28
- ICP charge: AED 22
- Fee for smart services: AED 100
- Fees for visa insurance: AED 80
Meanwhile, a slightly different price schedule is available on the website of Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
- Fee for 60-day visa: AED 200
- Fee for 90-day visa: AED 300
- Fee for 120-day visa: AED 400

Payment for monetary assurances:
- AED 1,000 is the security amount.
- Fee for warranty servicing: AED20
- AED 40 is the cost to retrieve and return the guarantee.
