Kuwait: According to local media Kuwaiti officials on Tuesday introduced a new electronic service via the Sahel App for providing temporary residency cards.
The Ministry of Interior has introduced a new electronic service for issuing temporary residency permits under Articles 20 and 22. The Sahel unified government e-services app allows for access to it.
The General Directorate of Security Relations and Media said in a press release that this service would eliminate the need for sponsors to physically visit the Residence Affairs Department to print the electronic residence sticker. Rather, a notification along with the sticker would be sent to sponsors.

The Ministry underscored that the implementation of this program is a component of the ongoing endeavors of the General Directorate of Information Systems and the General Department of Residency Affairs to optimize procedures and augment convenience for inhabitants and citizens.
