Canada Invites Skilled Workers for Permanent Residency Through Canadian Experience Class

Foreigners interested in moving to Canada frequently view Express Entry drawings. Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently submitted an application for permanent residency (ITA) using the Express Entry system.

In the most recent draw (number 320) held on October 24, 2024, 400 ITA entries were allocated specifically to the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program enabling competent applicants to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

The latest round of Express Entry happened at 14:07:18 UTC on October 22, 2024. Candidates invited had to score a minimum CRS of 539 and the tie-breaking effective date was set to October 19, 2024 at 21:53:18 UTC.

In previous edition 500 invites were issued out with program specific score of 539 under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw held on October 9, 2024. For the draw conducted on September 19, 2024, 4,000 invitations were issued, with the limit set at 509.

For skilled professionals the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program provides the chance to obtain permanent residency in Canada. In addition to meeting language proficiency requirements, candidates must have completed at least one year of competent, paid work experience including part-time equivalents in Canada during the previous three years.

Unpaid labor, internships and experience gained while temporarily residing outside of Canada are not eligible for CEC only paid job experience is. Unauthorized work is also not included.

Two drawings for the Canadian Experience Class and one for French language proficiency have already taken place in October as part of the Provincial Nominee Program.
