A Dh3 million effort has been started by a local Ajman charity to rectify residency violators’ status and finish the residence visa application procedure.
As part of a larger initiative to waive fines for individuals who have violated entry and residency regulations, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) partnered with the International Charity Organisation (ICO) to launch “Correction of the Status of Violators.”

Those who violate can either regularise their status or leave the country without being subject to bans, fines, or exit fees thanks to the two-month visa amnesty scheme, which began on September 1 and ended on October 30.
The secretary-general of the ICO, Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, clarified that the organization supports national initiatives like this one, which spares people from fines related to residency and allows them to change their status.
